Ingredients:
Pudina ( Mint Leaves ) – 2Hands full /1Cup
Coriander Leaves – 1Handfull / 1/2Cup
Chana Dal – 1tsp
Urd Dal – 1tsp
Jeera – 1/2tsp
Garlic Cloves – 15
Green Chillies- 15
Small Onion – 1
Small Tomato – 1
Tamarind – Small Lemon Size
Fresh Coconut Pieces – 3tbsp
Mustard Seeds
Urd Dal for tampering
Salt as per taste
It is a basic green chutney .Fresh garlic imparts amazing flavour and freshness to this chutney. This chutney can be served with appetizers as dips , sandwiches wraps etc
Green garlic contains the same nutrients as full-grown garlic, such as allicin (a sulfur compound and natural antibiotic), manganese (a mineral linked to good cholesterol) and iron.
Green garlic beneficial for boosting immune system, good for heart, fights gastro intestinal infections, reduce blood count or even anemia.
INGREDIENTS
1 small bunch of fresh garlic [ green and white part both ]
½ slice bread
2 cup coriander leaves
3 or as per taste green chilli
½ tsp sugar
small piece of ginger
2 tsp fresh lemon juice
black salt – 1/4 teaspoon
NOTE – add few palak leaves for bright green colour .
METHOD
Wash the coriander leaves and green garlic .Drain off the excess water .
Trim off the roots . chop the leaves .
Add all the ingredients one by one in a mixie jar .
Blend it to a smooth consistency, add little water as needed for grinding.
Transfer the chutney into a serving bowl, adjust salt and lemon if needed .
Serve this refreshing Green Garlic Cilantro Chutney with your favourite dish. Enjoy.
